2ND Q: SPURS 58 HORNETS 66

We keep chasing them, and we keep chasing them because our 6TOs have cost us 14 points already.

We are also allowing too many 3s to go in. Again too much of the too many Spurs in the paint issue. They are 8-15 from 3 to our 5-13.

And though we are driving decently (we lead 36-32 PITP) we are not getting the corresponding whistle. We are only 3-7FTs to their 8-10.

We are also somehow losing the rebounding battle 23-18, 5-4 on O, despite us having more size. BOX OUT.

After Keldon blitzed in the 1ST Q for 13 points, he only had 3 in the 2ND, and needed more help from others.

No starters in double figures; Devin 2-6. Two of attempts those in the restricted area. Zach 1-4. Looks rusty.

Sochan doing great work inside, getting praise from opponent commentators for his constant movement and hustle. Agree. He is 4-7, 0-1 from 3, 0-1FT, 2 boards (1 on O), 4 assists (team high so far), 1 steal, 1 block. Very solid.

All starters have at least one assist. We have 20 in total. Good.

Branham. Not sure what happened to him but 8 minutes, no shots? I thought I saw him making some but that may have been Blake in retrospect, who in 9 minutes is 3-5. Good. Good D, too.

If we can just pick up the pace, defend harder, and make baskets, we have the makings for a comeback win.
