Kelly Olynyk isn't a centre nor has he ever provided solid rim protection. He's a playmaking PF.

We've been tanking for a while now with a depleted roster which lacked depth in the first place, after pivoting to a tear down rebuild which many were pining for.

I'd imagine Kelly O is great to have in the locker room too. Losing is not good for morale you need to have some vets around. And the draft hasn't even happened so way too early to claim that Ainge hoodwinked the FO.

Traded a first round pick for a bad defensive backup C who isn’t even providing the floor spacing he was supposed to, we could have signed him with the MLE in the offseason if we really wanted him. And a guy who doesn’t look like an NBA player, supposedly a 3+D wing but doesn’t do either at an NBA level. He is owed significant guaranteed money for the next two seasons and probably won’t be worth his qualifying offer at the end of year 4.

Which he was doing in college Shooting was always his bread and butter and what got him drafted in the 1st. Of course he comes to the Raptors, and can't hit water if he fell out of a boat.

He just doesn't have a good feel for the game. He plays like a football player - physical defense, good cuts off ball and occasional power moves down low. Bad shot mechanics and poor touch are killing his game

I've been calling him modern day Joey Graham for a reason but these shots he's getting this game (point blank layups and open corner 3's) are ones you expect every NBA player to make.
