Muscala, too is from the MPLS area. This should be a really fun opener!

Wolves fan here. I am a Minnesota native and have been all my life (minus a few months here or there.) I really want Chet to succeed. That said, maybe not against us ;).

To your point, I think KAT guards Chet and Gobert guards Poku and cheats off to guard the paint. I am very curious who you use to guard Ant? Also curious how the Giddy and Chet connection looks in October. I really like how the Thunder did the rebuild so watching us go at it should be a fun opener :)

It’s far more likely that Baze, JRE, and Moose are getting the lion’s share of the big minutes, not Poku. Bet we see him for under 20 minutes.

OKC will probably lose to current Minnesota team even if Chet balls out in the first game though .

Would like to see how a Gobert/Kat frontline works .

Probably, but you guys are still in the rebuild and we are finally coming out of ours. I look forward to some excellent basketball games between our teams over the next few years.

My prediction is Rudy will be down low a lot. Not even really guarding a player. KAT will either guard the five man on man, play high wall, or the whole defense runs a zone. I think the notion of KAT moving to the four while technically accurate isn’t really the way it works in practice. Chet vs Rudy in the paint on both ends will be super fun though :)

very ugly and bored schedule, lot of games repeating opponents in the beginning

first 18 games we play against only 12 teams

minny x2
LAC x2
Bucks x2
NY x2
Denver x3

first two months we play the full Minny 4 games...

5 times we play the same opponent next game, LAC the 2 times

Should Chet really be starting at center this early in his career? I thought OKC would pick up a vet center to play along side Chet until his body is ready. Sorta like Mobley.

Saw on hoopshype the floors were wet with condensation and eventually deemed unsafe to play on.

yeah that's true. They had to stop the game. Several players almost got injured. I have no clue how the floor impacted Chet's injury tbh.

Any answer I give would be speculation. I want to see Chet play, I don’t have league pass, and we play all our games in the first couple months. This sucks. Worse for you guys of course. But Minnesota natives and fans are displeased.

I first thought about the Minny/OKC National TV game but since Chet can miss the all season, I'm not worried about that game anymore :(

Again, we don’t feel the pain as sharply, but trust me Minnesota feels the pain.
