The Thunder drafted Steven Adams with the #12 pick. Although I initially disliked this pick, over time I grew to appreciate Steven Adams and he eventually became one of my all time Thunder favorites.
However, the Bucks drafted Giannis Antetokounmpo with the #15 pick.
1) How did the Thunder miss out on this superstar? Were the analytics not there, were the stats lacking, or just not enough belief in upside?

well 14 other teams missed on Giannis...no idea what our FO was thinking about him. We needed to draft a big at that time for sure but not an excuse to pass on a potential sueprstar. An athletic guy that can't shoot would have been a classic thunder pick...too bad they didn't makee it
