May 17th Draft Lottery 8pm EST

Post#1 » by retrobro90 » Mon May 16, 2022 3:02 pm

Hey everyone. Just thought I'd start a thread specifically for tomorrow's lotto coverage and any comments regarding the lotto itself.

I'm gonna be present at The Jones Assembly tomorrow evening for the Down To Dunk Lottery Party. Not sure if we have any other attendees on this board but if we do don't be a stranger and shoot me a DM.

Hopefully soon we'll have more news about who OKC's rep is gonna be and if Mark Tatum got all my fan letters.

Huge night for the franchise. We could be looking at a Chet or Daniels all because of lottery luck. I'm a fan of Daniels, but Chet is special.

I hope our representative is a player. We tried the corporate thing last year with Nazr and got boned.

If we get the number one pick I’ll open my Kentucky blue run bourbon.

Having a **** day on personal note, could use some luck today.

One tankaton just for fun and ended up with #2 and #12. Don't think we will be that lucky be I'm optimistic. My bet is on #3 and #12!

Not even high on the top of this draft but ending with a 6-7 pick for the second season in a row would be very depressing. Give me any top 4 pick and I'm happy.

Anything other than a top three will be a disappointment for me. The draft may not be great but I don't think we can afford to trade down much. This team desperately lacks talent. Even a high end role player has value.

Is Banchero/Jabari/Chet your top 3?

I'm so low on Jabari compared to most that I don't see a big gap between top 3 and 4 or 5 (only guy I really like in this draft is Chet even if I know he could be a bust). I have no idea who I would pick at 4 between Jabari, Sharpe and Ivey.

I guess. Not because I love them. Just because they excite me a bit more than the others.

Ok..it’s time for predictions. I’m guessing we get the fifth pick.
