Didn't bother to wake up for this game, when it comes down to it the only sport we are dominant at is one that most of the world does not give a f*** about. Just another case of Canadians overglorifying a hockey game, while failing to even make Top 3 in the medal standings hah.. but #WeAreWinter tho.

I agree not as many countries care about hockey, but a golds a gold. We should be proud.

We also finished top three because the IOC values Gold over total medal count.

Wrong, there are were 5 elite teams in this tournament. Canada, Sweden, Finland, Russia, and the US all have great hockey programs. Slovakia and the Czech Republic aren't too bad either. Hockey has more parity than a lot of other Olympic sports.

We finished third in the standings, one gold shy of second.

Not fun for other countries to watch this cdn team, but you have to respect their defense. They may go down in history as the best defensive team ever put on ice. Top 3 at worst.
