GT #33: Bullets @ Cavs 7 PM (MSN/980 AM)

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Mon Jan 1, 2024 6:30 am

YOUR Washington Bullets are 6-26!

Another game, another opponent significantly outrebounding your Bullets. It seems to be a feature of the tank. No front court depth ensures no extra posessions and also bad defense. As was on display on New Year's Eve in DC as the Bullets lost to the ATL Hawks.

To ring in the New Year, the Bullets travel to Cleveland for the first of two against the Cavs. On Wednesday and Friday this week.

The Cavs do not have the services of star PG Darius Garland and 2022 Rookie of the Year runner-up Evan Mobley as they are recovering from injuries.

However, the Cavs have kept their heads above water and found a gem in Craig Porter Jr. who has given them vital minutes with Garland's absence and Ricky Rubio's leave from the game of basketball for personal reasons.

Cleveland is coming off losses to the Bucks and Raptors. And the Bullets are a great 'get right matchup!

The defense of this team is so abysmal it defies belief…

And Jordan Poole…what a low IQ player… :banghead:

We have no type of paint protection whatsoever or WUJ refuses to give our rim protector more mins. I was dumb expecting Kuzma to help hit my parlay

Only positive is seeing bench get minutes, but they are playing bad. If we can get a first rounder for Kuzma that needs to happen quick before he gets hurt, and a 2nd rounder for Jones is fine. The timeline is to be competitive by time they move to Alexandria, and only BC may still be on team.

And there is no lineup or rotation that Wes is missing, he just does not have any above average NBA players on his team.

I know that you can’t get blood from a turnip, but good lord Wes gets so little from this roster. I don’t think they should be getting blown out by this much so consistently. He’s just not a good coach.
