Mets Hoping J.D. Martinez Can Join Club On Friday

The New York Mets are hoping J.D. Martinez can join the Major League club on Friday, according to a report.
Martinez will move to Triple-A Syracuse as he works towards his debut.
The veteran slugger signed a one-year deal with the Mets just before Opening Day.
