Morgan has been horrendous. Moore uninspired. Bendik needs to punch those balls to safety - he put it into the edge of the box twice and it cost us the second time. We need to get Giovinco more involved in the middle.

So unlucky. So TFC.
Giovinco's class showed on every set piece in that second half. And another ridiculous refereeing decision costs us.

The refs robbed us on the Cheyrou header. I could not believe they disallowed that. But what how really can't believe is how bad Joe Bendik is. I know he gets nothing but love from TFC fans, but I think he is just a very mediocre MLS GK, nothing more. That game was embarrassing.

sucks about the goal they took away from us but that game really was painful to watch. Giovinco couldn't get the ball RSL did well to make sure he could not get open. Can't wait for Bradley and Jozy to be back

Terrible game.
I see the panic is starting to set in for some TFC fans. We all know that feeling all too well.
With no home game in sight, they really need to start getting some road points.

Re: Toronto FC Discussion Thread II
I don't see why panic should be settling in, there were quite a few reasons for optimism last night.
I think despite the loss we saw some decent things out of our young center backs. Sure they could use more seasoning but I liked what Clement brought, hagglund wasn't dreadful.
Giovinco is settling in, and getting better.
Bright Dike was a beast in the few minutes he got out there. I don't know if we are willing to commit to it but i'd love to see both him and Jozy out there wrecking havoc on opposing defenses with their size.
If the referee didn't brutally get that call wrong Nick Hagglund would have had that first goal and we would have tied the game much sooner, which could have changed the outcome. As it was we had a chance to come away with a tie, but our youth and inexperience showed allowing that goal 1 minute after we scored.
I think we will be primed for a great second half of the season. I think internal growth and maybe a RB and we should be set.
But I'm a relatively new fan...so what do I know.

I agree with you, but with 8 seasons of losing, most fans will lose patience early.
If we don't gain points now, the second half of the season becomes pointless.

Luckily we have a few easier games on the schedule and will get some first team talent back in Altidore, Morrow, Perquis and Bradley.
I think a month from now the outlook of our team will take a strong step forward.

Fans are a bit uneasy because this season is so jam packed. No home games in sight for a while, so we have to pick up some away points. We also have the Gold Cup in the summer to which we will lose some of our best players again. We need to get firing on all cylinders and really clean up in May/June.
Plus that loss last night was so TFC. I was reminded of the Winter years, where we routinely outplayed teams only to miss chance upon chance and lose at the last minute. The familiarity was uneasy for many.

Im not too familiar with MLS(You can call me a bandwagoner)
Roughly how many games does TFC need to win in order to make the Playoffs?

It takes about 50 points to make the playoffs in MLS.
The top teams will be in the 60's though.

Ugh.
4 games, 3 points. This isn't looking good. We have Dallas next week.

Even an inept Toronto Raptors franchise made the playoffs within 4-5 years of their existence.
TFC has existed since 2007 and 8 years later they haven't had a sniff of the playoffs. Brutal.

It's honestly depressing.
