Both Grant and Seth are from the area, most people know and Seth but Grant played at Providence Day.

Would anyone have preferred Holmes over Grant Williams?

Dallas has been a poorly ran organization over the last few years. Wouldn’t be surprised if that pick ends up in the 10-15 range

I imagine the 1st was because the Mavs wanted Williams off their team, because that is insane we got that pick
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

Don’t forget Lowry….oh yeah, we already told everyone he was being waved after the deadline :banghead:

Personally I like Grant. He's a PJ kind of guy who actually has some fire and plays with attitude. I think that'll be a refreshing addition to the locker room

We didn't, he just wouldn't play. What were we supposed to do exactly?

I forgot Grant Williams too. So we have 10 roster spots right now for guards. Lol

No way. I may be one of the few here that view this as a lateral move talent wise + we get a 1st. No brainer. I think Grant will surprise some people - tough nosed competitor we need - shoots the three ball well. Won't take plays (quarters/halves/games) off.

Wish PJ could have consistently put it together. Think he can be a great role player. He will look a lot better in a real system.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

Gonna have some angry fans when they keep Ntilikina to dump Curry before he plays a game here. Granted, the only Hornets fans are angry fans. Been that way for decades.

He's a fantastic guy to have in our locker-room. We have some actual adults on our team now.

Only having top 2 protection on the 2027 first round pick is huge. Kyrie will be a 34 year old UFA in 2026 and Luka has a player option for 2026-2027. If Dallas somehow loses both of them to free agency in the summer of 2026, that team could bottom out FAST

With our luck, Dallas gets a top 2 pick in that scenario lol

I think it has a chance to be late lottery - mid teens though, which is great for a player of PJ's caliber

That will be a disastrous PR and basketball move. Time to dump Frank and tell Cliff “too damn bad..let him live at your house”.

There will be a number of cuts if we don’t have some type of consolidation trade in the next couple hours.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Seth has gone on record to say he doesn't want to play in Charlotte. He doesn't like the idea of playing for his Dad's team, he's always wanted to carve out his own niche.

Grant WIlliams isn't a guard.

He's actually gone on record to say the exact opposite. https://www.greenvilleonline.com/story/sports/2023/06/09/seth-curry-team-nba-free-agency-steph-curry-charlotte-hornets/70301645007/

It was from an interview he did several years ago, I'll see if I can track it down.
