Doesn't make sense geographically to expand in Seattle and Vancouver as they are so close to each other. They would need to redo all the divisions and move two teams to the east which leads to other problems like distance and travel.

Austin would be a better option than any listed here; but there would be so much opposition to adding another Texas team (including from the other three Texas teams).

Good city, growing, good corporate base, lots of disposable income, no pro sport competition (not including UT).

LA should get a third team first, especially if the Clippers are moving to Inglewood

Plenty of room here for 3 teams

Although I'd love to see a team in my hometown of KC, I'm pretty sure the answer here is Las Vegas.

Why would we add teams? We need to get rid of some.
That being said I like the idea of Louisville, Nashville, or st. Louis if it had to be done.

Vegas isn't much of a city outside the strip, I'm not sure it can support NFL NBA and NHL franchises

It's also in close proximity to OKC and Memphis, which is nice for scheduling purposes. I'd then move the Wolves into the Eastern conference because one look at a map will confirm that they are in the wrong conference.

Northeast
Boston
New York
Brooklyn
Toronto

North Central
Chicago
Detroit
Milwaukee
Minnesota

Southeast
Miami
Orlando
Atlanta
Charlotte

Mid-Atlantic
Washington
Philadelphia
Cleveland
Indiana

Northwest
Portland
Seattle
Sacramento
Golden State

Southwest
LAC
LAL
Phoenix
Utah

South Central
Dallas
Houston
San Antonio
New Orleans

Midwest
OKC
Kansas City
Memphis
Denver
Would be a near perfect divisional alignment except I would put New Orleans in the Midwest division, phoenix in the south central, golden state/sacramento in the southwest, and Utah/Denver in the northwest.

As cliche as it sounds, I think it depends how good the team is. Vegas is an event town. If the team is stacked, they'll sell out every game. If not, I can see no one going.

Where's the option for NONE? The league is watered down as it is, we don't need any crappier teams.

Seattle, and another West coast city.
Then move New Orleans or Memphis to the East

This isn't gonna happen though. That would mean owners would have to divide up and share profits even more, until the new teams build fan bases of their own to turn a profit

It's really not that hard. Teams like Memphis and Minnesota would gladly take the chance to move to the Eastern Conference.

I voted for Vancouver. I think it deserves a second chance. It's a big, growing international city with a lot of Chinese fans.

I really doubt the NBA would be willing to plop two new franchises so close together in Seattle and Vancouver.

I'd be all for it but I doubt the NBA would do it.

I hope the Clippers move back to San Diego. That way I don't have to drive all the way to LA to watch an NBA game.

I'd love to see a team in Pittsburgh.

It would take time for the city to become a basketball city, but the fans have always backed their teams, so an NBA team would get the support.

Still salty.

Seattle city leaders failed to get the job done.

I'd rather see a team go somewhere that has no other professional franchises.

Maybe Birmingham, they are the 40th ranked TV market size.

San Diego has trouble keeping its teams, but I give 5 years before it builds a super team. It would supplant LA and Miami as the most desirable city. They just need to draft one star and then they'll have no problem attracting players.

They'll probably expand to Las Vegas since the NHL and NFL are headed there.
