Yes, Giddey is not going to be special. Tough luck for the Thunder that he has lost most of his value already, surely no other team will give up actual value for him now.

Giddey is not a spot up shooter.

He's good with the ball in his hands creating plays.

He's a baller, but in the wrong role for his skill set.

Giddey has one bad game..

Before this game he had 2nd best on-off on OKC in playoffs and 2nd best TS% of the starters.

He's 21 years old

His value peaked last year.

His future clearly isn’t with OKC so I don’t know why they didn’t flip him at the deadline but I guess his value was really low at that time.

I think he’s still a decent player but he’s better off on a team like Utah or the Nets.

If he spent as much time on his jumper and defense as he does playing with his hair during the game, he'd be unstoppable.

He's certainly not worth keeping with his controversy due to his lack of actual talent.

He is not a pedo, come on with this stupidity. Giddey was 19 and the girl like 16. He was an idiot for not making sure the girl was of legal age in that state, but that doesn't make him a pedophile. He is not a great fit on the Thunder though, but I also think he still has trade value, and some teams will be willing to give up a 1st rounder for him.

It's tricky to trade one of your starter when you are the 2nd seed in the West at the deadline while being expected as a borderline playoff/play in team so I don't blame Presti for not trading Giddey before. I do blame him for not adding better bench/role players though

Was there any proof that Giddey actually did anything illegal? I thought the investigation didn't show anything and the only 'proof' was one tweet that was quickly deleted.

I would take him to the Spurs immediately

His 3P and FTW % improved every year. If he could slightly increase the volume, he could be useful for many teams as a secondary playmaker. Especially if he is surrounded by above average defenders.

33,7% on 3 three point attempts and 80,6% on 1,6 free throw attempts.

Getting it up to 35-36% on 4 attempts doesn't seem that unrealistic. If he could also get to the free throw line a bit more, his effiency would probably be close to league average level.

No, just mental midgets who still haven't been able to formulate anything humorous or original 6 months later still rehashing the same TMZ level trash. Pick his game apart if you want, it's not perfect by any stretch. I'd still welcome him on the Cavs as a secondary play-maker...

Josh Giddy legitimately played better defense and he decided to cut off his right hand would still have a better FG% then Hayes.

Josh Giddy post all star
Is averaging 14/7/5.4 on the 4th most usage on the team, a 2.2 A:T rate, hitting 36% from 3.

If that's a mistake from your 4th option 21 year old. You've done a **** correct. His

His playmaking and height really help the thunder. You basically have a 6"8" SG/SF. He's poor in the case of he's not a great rebounder and he's the worst defender in the starting 5 for OKC, if he's the one you have to attack you are doing well

theyre not trading him. Why would they, hes 21 years old, hes got tons of talent and has already improved every year. On top of that, you would be selling him at low value, Presti isnt doing that.

The only way I see him getting moved would be for someone who fits way better and is young, I dont know who that would be and they probably wouldnt be available. If they shopped him, teams would lining up to acquire him

Giddey is the most overhated player in the league. He's 21, starts for the top team in the West, has been quite productive over his first 3 years including some good playoff games this year and people already write him off and call him a "mistake". He definitely seems out of sorts in this series, but at the end of the day he's a positive player with some clear great traits a lot of room to grow. He might not be on this team in 2026 but I think OKC should/will keep him around for the last year on his rookie deal. OKC needs everyone in their lineup to make decisions - his ability to do that at 6'9" helps when 3 of their starters are under 6'6"

id love to see him on a rebuilding team and given the primary ball handler roll, I think hed absolutely kill it. Give him to the Raptors or Spurs, any lottery team really. He wont be a bad shooter for long

OKC is still playing with house money. And they have A LOT of flexibility.

Not every talented young player on the roster is going to pan out perfectly. Giddey can be moved for good value... and will probably be moved/replaced soon enough.

He's much better than he showed next to SGA/JW because he's not needed, but he also doesn't have all-NBA potential if people are waiting for him to breakout...
UTA/SAS should target him IMO, and he'll be able to be the lowish/ineffecient scoring triple double machine he's capable of being.
