Ahhh, so what was okay then isn't okay now. Got it, bro, the logic on here is hilarious. If you'll call it that.

The entitlement of Joel Embiid is frankly why people don't like the NBA.

the 90s knicks never intentionally tried to injure anyone the way embiid does constantly. your comparison is off

When he’s not ducking his rivals by sitting out road games, Embiid resorts to injuring them. Got it. The Sixers will not win a title with him anyway so there’s that.

What does that have to do with a flagrant 2 not being called? You can't just injure a guy and there is no consequences.

I watched the replay. That's one of the dirtiest plays I've ever seen in my 30 year watching career

That's hyperbole. Draymond has done far worse. Like stomping on Sabonis' chest. LeBron has pushed Embiid for a dunk while in mid air. It was a dirty play, but there are far worse.

Just soft.

You should want to beat the Sixers with Embiid. Otherwise the series will be tainted.

The Knicks are without Randle---We all know that if he was playing the Knicks would sweep the Sixer's asses. The Sixers would have had to sweep the Knicks to convince anyone they stood a chance against the Knicks with Randle on board. Imagine the Sixers without Maxey---they wouldn't even be able to manage single digit losses, let alone win a game.

Embiid committed dirty play after dirty play in this game---even Draymond Green would have been ashamed of that performance. He earned multiple flagrant fouls and he injured Robinson. He is a dirty player.
Yes because Randle has so much playoff success under his belt

I understand on paper Knicks are better with Randle and theoretically have a higher ceiling with him, but I think his weaknesses are easily exploited in the playoffs that makes it hard for them to achieve said ceiling. History shows this, maybe he'd have bucked the trend of under-performing in the playoffs this year, but we'll never know for certain.

It’s pretty sad when “fans” want players to get hurt. Says more about you than anybody else.

Nobody wants it, people are saying karma would make him 'deserve' it though. Dirty POS player who clearly was trying to injure Knicks players in that 1st quarter.

It's the same thing lol

No he didn't. Robinson would have landed right on him, so he took action and pushed him out of the way. It was reckless and dangerous, but so is people jumping on top of you when you're on the floor.

This game felt like a “make-up” game by the refs to appease Morey/Nurse/Embiid. 21 free throw attempts for a single player is wildly lopsided

Yes it is, listen to Embiid's interview, and then watch the tape. Embiid feel, Robinson went up to rebound a miss. He jumped and was inches away from landing on him, Embiid anticpated it, and yanked him down. Dumb ass move, but he literally said he did it to keep him from hurting him. I have no illusions, that this was okay. He should have been ejected for it, but he wasn't trying to hurt him, is what I'm trying to say.

You expect him to publicly admit he made a dirty play? He was visibly frustrated the play before, stomping around the 3 point line like a child. He's upset again when he goes down and makes a move for Robinsons legs before he even jumped

The tweet you just shared shows Embiid reaching for Robinson before he even leaves that ground.

At no point does he put his hands up to shield himself or push Robinson away. He grabs him and yanks him.

That’s not acting protectively. You want to protect yourself, roll out of the way. He was upset he didn’t get the call for the flop against OG so he acted out.

So what should he have done? Probably could have rolled away, but if Robinson did jump there was a high likelihood he would have landed on him.
