It's the Spurs on Stoudemire strategy the Spurs employed in the mid-00s. Allow AD to get his without allowing the Lakers to get into their natural offense. Plus, a lot of points he takes advantage of are on mismatches when Jokic comes to hedge the screen and what not. And even with his 32ppg, Jokic is getting 28ppg and like 9 apg so I'm certain the Nuggets are okay with the matchup. 8-)

It's kind of fun to joke about in this series but for real the Nuggets need to start games off better as I don't know if theyll get away losing every first half against better teams.

Because AD is mentally checked out defensively because he's just going to save his energy this game to score in the 4th quarter instead of being exhausted like previous games

It's partially his own fault, he insisted on getting 50 million a season when they could of used some of that money for "more help".

It's human nature to get comfortable with patterns. It becomes a habit.

If you know you're the superior team, and you have experience with 'flipping the switch', then it becomes the norm.

It's maddening to coaches fans, etc. But it's predictable. I always hated to have to wait until the 3rd quarter blitz by the Dubs, while they're messing around in the first half.
