Why is this a suspension for you? He did grab his leg, making it a flagrant one, and it was dangerous, all flagrant fouls are unnecessary and dangerous. What makes this one in particular rise to the level of an ejection or suspension when you watch just this play? What’s the extra part of it for you? Nobody was hurt on this. It is Dirty play. But why a flagrant 2?

The real question is, if this wasn't deserving of a flagrant 2, then what is?? The most vulnerable a person is, is when they leave their feet. And for someone to make a non-basketball play on someone off their feet, it doesn't get much worse than that.

Look at some flagrant 2s and spot differences and see what you come up with

Embiid isn't actually clumsy. He's just clumsy strategically. ie, foul baiting and using it as a mask for being dirty/reckless.

I remember the hate guys like Harden or Carmelo got. Well, they got nowhere near the hate Embiid gets in GB. What he does is not that bad to get like 90% of GB hating against him, like this doesn't make sense at this point, there have been some notorious floppers but while they had some notorious detractors, nothing like this.

I think it's because of how big he is. Like it actually bothers me to see someone that large flopping around. Guys with his size should be doing whatever they want while everyone else sort of hangs on helplessly. Every other big that got tons of free throws did it that way, and most people feel like Embiid could do it too if he just tried. That's the most annoying thing.

Not only is it silly, it's also dangerous. Just a few years ago, he ended a teammate's career (Danny Green) by flopping on top of him and tearing his ACL and LCL.

I know it's playoffs and he's a superstar. But there was literally zero play on the ball. Embiid acted 100% on frustration and bad intentions.
