Hate it so much for the Lakers. Facing Denver immediately. No you want your bogey team as late as possible to see if someone takes them out. Like if the Lakers had drawn the Clippers in the first round 2020. It's not a losing mentality. This year I had the Mavs taking them out. Lakers are just in a bad situation where Jokic just happens to match or cancel out the strength of both stars. Add a a coach who is horrible with finer margins. Ham's mistakes are numerous but against Denver are devastating.

Some of the older series prices seem extreme to me and I'm not sure if they would be like that today tbf, the market has certainly become more efficient. But based on these numbers, the team gap in this series is perhaps comparable to some of his series in his first stint in Cleveland. FanDuel has Lakers at +300 with about an hour to go until the game, seeing lower like +275 elsewhere, not sure whats sportsoddshistory.com will track it as.

Realistically gonna have to fade the Lakers if they lose game 1 imo. Long series and all that but coming out with a punch in the mouth is their best shot at sneaking a win on the road

Lakers shooting this well you'd expect them up 15. Which is always scary v Nuggets. Hope I eat my words at games end.

LeBron just played a GoATy quarter. Jokic is going to sit for the next four minutes or so so the Lakers should either keep their lead or try to build on it even if LeBron is going to have to go go to the bench.

Because ham is absolutely stupid. Lakers have the best player on the court, and the Nuggets have the worst player on the court and instead of taking advantage, they have Hayes in there for some reason. To get this lead up to 12 or 14 or something like that before Nikola Jokić comes back.

The Lakers have outshot the Nuggets by 20% halfway through the second quarter and are only winning by eight points, which isn’t good.
