It's just a case of the Heat playing above their capability.

Curious as to your thoughts on Joe Mazz today? You've been harping about us seeing what Joe has been preparing for for the entirety of the regular season. Does our coach look prepared to you?

Joe had this same game plan in Game 1 and the Cs won by 20.
You take the good with the bad with this Celtics team.
I keep saying that this Celtics team has a higher % of winning it all next season.
So something like this doesn't surprise me anymore.
It's just so hilarious that some here keep saying Joe is a bad coach and yet they expect the Cs to win a championship this year.
I'll say it again, if the coach is bad, the Celtics can't execute in the clutch, and Tatum is inconsistent or not an alpha, why in the world are you guys expecting the Cs to win a championship?
Triple7 nailed it exactly what you'd say. Damn, you're really a fanboy of **** Joe.

They haven't played defense since Ime left.

Why do you say we have a higher chance to win it all next year? is it because of the more experience with the group with another year?

This is EXACTLY what I predicted with this team.

They shot 53% because no one was contesting their threes most of the game. If you give bums confidence, they will shoot lights out.

Here's the thing, the Cs did the same thing in Game 1 and they beat Miami by 20.
Can the Heat shoot like this for the whole series?
Games 3 and 4 will tell us the whole story.
If the Heat continue to shoot like this then game over for the Cs and let's move on to draft night.

How about actually guarding their shooters? Why leave it to chance like we did last year?

It's not being a fan boy of Joe.
I just believe that coaching only has a 30% effect on the game.
70% of it is on the players.
Celtics won a championship with Doc Rivers and even playa-hater says he will pick Joe over Doc.
The players, especially the Jays, still has not learned how to play championship level basketball on a regular basis.
Let Mr. Bean coach this team and this team will still be a #1 seed.
The coach is not the one shooting or defending.
