Hate to see Rob go. But, he had become expended.
Good Luck to both Malcolm Brogdon & Timelord.

For such a nice seeming guy, BRAD DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. Very disappointed losing Rob. Malcom, while a perfect diplomat and professional coming off maybe one of his best years did not ever really fit like you'd have expected. Glad that saga is over now though.

Rob, I’ll miss you so much.

Enjoy their weed scene like you did ours.

Brogdon, you played here, and now you don’t.

Rob will be a special player in this league if he can stay healthy. Wish it could have been on our team. It just wasn't meant to be. Good luck my lord.

I'll miss both these guys, esp. Rob because he was homegrown. Good luck in Portland, Rob! And good luck wherever you end up, Malcolm (unless it's with a contender).

Hope Rob gets more opportunity to expand his game in Portland. I'll certainly miss watching him play at the volume I did as a Celtic. And I'll certainly miss the 2-big philosophy and level of above the rim offense potential the team had along with the defensive and rebounding advantages. We'll see how it all works out.

Brogdon wanted out per Shams

This also brings resolution to the Brogdon saga, who was aggrieved after a deal to send him to the Los Angeles Clippers fell through during Porziņģis trade talks in June. Brogdon, the 2023 Sixth Man of the Year, preferred a fresh start elsewhere after nearly being traded, according to league sources who were granted anonymity so they could speak freely.

LOVE Rob though. Super bummed he's gone :(

I will miss both players as I am a big fan of both of them. Losing Rob is tough. However, everything he brings to table is based on his athleticism and he is so injury prone that who knows how long he can keep his elite jumping ability. It was a tough choice but the right one. Will root hard for Rob to reach his potential in Portland.

So sad to see Williams go. Such a good teammate and fun player. But hopefully he can find his way back to Boston down the line.

Brogdon had a good season last year and I'll miss his funky shot that was damn near automatic until he got hurt against Miami. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

Blame it on injuries or blame it on Joe but this past year wasn’t the Rob we needed. I said earlier this is a bad trade if it was Finals run Rob but I’m not so sure we’ll see him again before it’s too late.

Also way too high an expectation on him fixing everything defensively.

Brogdon was a good player for us, but it's really really weird how he went out.
