Team seems to have turned the corner. If only Ortiz can start heating up, this team looks great. Granted it WAS Baltimore.

We need some good starts out of Wakefield and Penny. I'd be happy with a split here, but it would be amazing to just keep this winning streak going early.

After Masterson's masterful performance today (hehe) Penny better be reallllllllllyyyyyyyy careful with how he handles the next few starts. If he goes Wang on us I'm sure the leash will be pretty short.

Rain Rain Go away, Come again another Day.

They should just call the first game off, it's 10-1 in the Bot 7th. Leave the tarp on, get some rest, and hopefully they can get the second game in. They better, because I'm going, and I got work off for it.

Well, they called the first game.

Good 7 inning win. Offense starting to look good. And Wake has pitched two good games.

Everything is certainly clicking at the moment. Most encouraged by a 2/4 day from both Ellsbury and Papi.

Great game. This nick green's got some pop. Too bad he doesn't play good defense. 3 errors in 2 games, very lugoesque.

Maybe we can have a new +/- stat for baseball. Green had 3 RBI in game 1, plus 2 errors putting him at +1. Game 2 saw him have an error with no RBI, bringing him back to even.

I'm not a big stat guy, but it gives statisticians another stat to droll on. I like it.
