The Boston Red Sox have recently sent scouts to watch Braves right fielder Jeff Francoeur, according to published reports.
It’s unclear whether the Braves are seriously entertaining offers on the player once expected to become the next face of the franchise, but they would presumably have to get an outfielder in return, or have another deal lined up to get a replacement for Francoeur, 25. Link

They'd be better off going for a first base DH type.
I wonder how long the David Ortiz saga will continue, he's definitely done. They just need to end it with some sort of dignity i guess.

Francoeur makes no sense for the Sox to go after. He does not fit into their style of play. I think somebody maybe wrong with that report.
