Offense?

Post#1 » by Dirty Water » Wed Jul 8, 2009 3:09 am

Where did it go. If you were to tell me at the begining of the year Ellsbury would be leading the team with a .303 BA I'd say WTF. It's one thing to run into good pitching but we have been playing against bums for the most part (OK Seattle can pitch) but like Atlanta... Washington... really? Someone on this team needs to get real hot. I'm looking at Pedroia who has been struggling a lot this past month and needs to add some stability to the top of the lineup

What happened to JD Drew and his usual June hot streak? He should get it going soon atleast.
But it's weird with this team right now, everyone is doing decent, but it's not translating to consistent runs. Could be a fluke, or it could be a serious problem we'll have to look to correct somehow.

This is why we really needed Texiera or Manny. We have a solid lineup now, but it certainly isn't anything special and I'll be worried come playoff time. I really wish Detroit had sucked ass this year so we could have made a play for Cabrera.

We just got embarrased offensively by Texas. Lowest of lows.
