Who could've predicted that building a roster without a point guard or a backup center on it could lead to issues?

Besides literally everyone outside of the Suns organization, that is.

Don't feel sorry for us. Be angry at stupid people in charge of teams WITH US.

THIS is the move that needs to be made.

No chance Nets want 2 more years of Beal's contract after getting rid of Ben's

Previous owner was criticized for being cheap . . .
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

That's crazy they don't have a FRP until 2030.

I'd be pretty surprised if he blows it up. Not even year 3. I don't think this is the type of dude to pay $4b for a rebuild.

They don't have any point guards so they just decided to use short shooting guards instead.

Nets decline. They already have Cam Thomas who is younger better and cheaper than Beal

PHX doesn’t have 3 FRPs to add to dump Beal’s contract.

Suns should decline too. They need 3 point shooting ASAP. They're playing 90's ball out there.

I kinda think you have to just try again with improved depth around those 3.. Booker holds great value. KD can get some something decent but you're still going to be a top 5 bottom team watching BK cash in lotto after lotto as you pay Beal max money.

Especially considering they already got Beal at home (Cam Thomas)

Well not even a good starting center
Ayton had his issues but he was way better than Nurkic

Most miserable season as a suns fan ever. By far. Just awful. Rooting for KD was hard enough. Ishbia was bad news from day one and he just keeps getting worse.

Citizens or RealGM, I've seen this written about 10 times now.

The Suns have a first round pick in 2024, 2026,2028,2030.

They don't have a first round pick in 2025, 2027, 2029.

It really sucks for the fans, but it's a cautionary tale for the new owners syndrome, be it the Rockets with the Westbrook trade, Nets with the Harden trade or the Suns with the KD trade, owners pushed for deals that needlessly mortgaged the franchise future.

I was a little worried Masai might cave and trade Scottie for KD two summers ago. I was elated when he didn't.
