To me, it depends on your definition of "better". If we are talking about stats, then yes Zach is much better. But if we are talking about value to a team then Frye is better. Zach has a negative impact on any team he'd ever play for while Frye has a small positive impact. By my definition of better, Frye is better. But this argument is so 7 months ago.

Frye's impact on our team is better since he allows LA to be one of the blazers offensive focal points. That was not gonna happen as long as Z-Bo was around. But if you were just matching the 2 up in terms to talent Zach is clearly a better players both offensively and rebounding aspect... Frye might be better on D if at all its marginal.
