wiz vs. celtics part 1 game thread

vERIZON CENTER was nuts last night. most fun i've had at a non-playoff game. way too many green jerseys in the crowd. nothing worse than a bandwagon celtic fan. especially the guy sitting behind me who, before the game, in a loud voice started whining to everone in earshot that he had to pay $100 for a scalped ticket to a lousy Wizards game, even though we "suck." as the game wore on and it was clear our "sucky" team was hanging tight with his mighty celtics he started telling any wiz fan who would listen that thr reason the wizards are able to even play in the same building with the celts is because Gilbert the "most selfish player in the league" was out with an injury. idiot. dude left the game with 30 seconds left and i saw him on the street after the game and he'd already peeled off his celtics jersey. Probably to be replaced with a patriots jersey. boston fans are the worst. and i got news for them: their team ain't that great.

I think one thing about scalping is that like eBay perhaps, have
a price in mind that you're willing to pay and stick to it. Be prepared
to miss the game if it comes to that.

I wonder how much I would have to be offered to sell my
tickets for BOS... a bunch more than face value that's for sure.
That's going to be a huge game for us.

I'm sure the players feel they owe BOS. Whether that ends up
being wishful thinking remains to be seen.

You guys won't be able to beat the Celtics. I don't mind you hyping up an anticipated game, but you will lose and we all know it. Hate to burst the bubble, but it's just how it goes. Now, if it's a competitive game with a rivalry were W's toss around side to side as much as L's, that's cool. But you guys are nothing compared to the Boston Celtics.

Haven't been able too post much lately, but helluva win boys, can't wait till we get Arenas back, and I dont think Arenas will hurt our defense much as some people seem to think. He will definatley help our offense, things are looking good for us better defense, Haywoood getting playing time, young rookies getting serious burn, Caron playing awesome, Jamison rebounding like a beast, this season has been very fun, and I think it may only get better...
