How dare that Sam Cassell, he outta be ashamed for wanting to win a championship. It's mind boggling how a guy could to do anything but go through the motions out on the court and collect his paycheck for giving the minimum effort. You really have to admire guys like Zach Randolph, Eddy Curry, Darius Miles, Quentin Richardson, Kwame Brown, etc for keepin it real and not giving a **** about superficial things such as trophies and rings.
Sam I Am should sign with a team that could really use a PG and not have a realistic shot at winning a championship rather than the team with the best record in the league since, you know, that makes a **** load of sense. I find it absolutely ridiculous that a guy with one ring already would actually care enough about winning another. Honestly, I'm appalled.
So Sam, if you're reading this...do the smart thing and sign with one of the teams out west battling to make it into the playoffs so you can have the privilege of getting swept by the Lakers. That would be so much more convenient than actually advancing to the next round and sacrificing a month of your offseason to keep playing.
First round exits FTW, championships are for losers.

Sam Cassell isn't a ring chaser for two reasons. The first being that he will significantly help this team. He's not just gonna sit on the bench the whole time. The second being that he's already won a ring. I don't think you can be called a ring chaser if you've already got one.
My Starting 5:
PG: Allen Iverson
SG: Paul Pierce
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Kevin Garnett
C: Patrick Ewing

Did anyone give Damon Stoudamire crap for going to the Spurs? Shouldn't he be considered a "ring chaser" too then? And yeah, this marks the first time in sports history that a player signs with a team because they want to win a championship.

Good pick-up for Boston
Just doesn't help their defense and specifically against defending Billups.
Boston gets even more tough in a number of ways with Cassell, and even more emotional and talkative. To the latter, KG, Pierce, Cassell, Perkins now, Big Baby, Tony Allen.
KG and Cassell together especially, as was seen in Minnesota, along with Sprewell.
To the emotion, that can be a negative thing at times, though.
Boston's going to be even more fun and interesting to watch now.

I have lost all respect for that E.T. looking fool. PATHETIC.
Celtics won't be able to win a championship with Cassell anyway, he simply adds to the team's firepower.
