Durant on Clay Bennett: "That fat mother******"
From a interview with frank hughes last night on Ian's show:

Durant called Clay Bennett a fat mofo.
Edit: The right link would have been nice!

Its at the 16 minute point.
Basically what happened was a Seattle film crew from one of the local TV stations that was in New York to cover the BOG meeting randomly ran in to KD on the street in NY. The film guys asked KD if he was in town for the BOG meeting and KD said that he didnt know what that was and said that he was in town for a Jordan thing that was going on. KD then asked the film guys if Clay was in town and the film guys told him that he was and that the BOG had voted to move the Sonics. KD then said "that FAT MOTHER Fer" (referring to Clay) and then he stopped himself and said that he shouldn't really say anything else so he turned around and left.
Really a great story. I love KD even more after I heard that.

Agreed on the loyalty and manhood points. But how could Durant not have known what the BOG was and when it was voting??
That's what I was thinking. Amazing how some of those guys could not be aware of what's going on.
It'd be like a Microsoft employee saying, "wait, we tried to take over Yahoo?"

Those intel points are for recognizing that Bennett is a "fat mfer". Nothing to do with keeping track of the BOG or legal matters.
Just seemed like a smart thing to say. I want to see animosity between our players and the owners and OKC fans. If they hate the players, they may be more likely to give them up and go for an expansion team.

Apparently K Durant is not the only one who will publically share their opinion of Bennett. Here's an article in Sports Illustrated titled, "The Dumbest Executive in the NBA".

"Oh there are so many stupid STUPID owners and general managers these days. So many franchises have been left in complete disarray because of God awful decisions that even a drunk with a grammar school education wouldn't have made. But who is the lowest of the low? Obviously the biggest villain right now is Clay Bennett and rightfully so. But his tyranny in robbing the people of Seattle of their team is more of a political evil than a managerial failure. He's in a class by himself. But aside from him, I'm counting down the 5 biggest dunces in professional basketball."
Basically, according to SI, Bennett's such an ass that he's beneath their list. Right on.

Kevin Durant would do well to watch his potty-mouth. We don't want him to turn out like Kevin Garnett, that is, Garnett before Ray Allen asked him to watch his potty-mouth last summer. Yet, Durant is still young and I expect him to mature in time. I am confident that he will represent us well tonight.
