I don't buy this all the pressure is on Detroit nonsense, ESPN will still be hyping up Lakers/Celtics, the media has been on their jock all season (how many Piston commercials have you seen this post season ) , and the Celtics still have to defend home court with the knowledge they haven't won on the road.
Not to say the Pistons don't have pressure, but saying they have all of it is crazy.

I think it'll be a very good series
In the past few years Detroit plays like they take certain teams too lightly and lose -- like against the Heat and Cavaliers. Detroit won't think they are better than the Celtics, and will play focused, with a chip and with something to prove attitude.
Boston in 7 if Ray Allen gets out of his funk
Detroit in 6 in Boston plays like they've been playing last 14 games.
I think Boston in 7. They're figuring things out on the fly, they more than half-way to the end of the playoffs.

Billups has to capitalize on his advantage - he can't let Rondo play him even.
Prince has to neutralize Pierce. If Pierce isn't scoring, the Celtics arn't scoring.
KG and Sheed are both studs, but they will sort of negate each other. It really comes down to PG/SF in this series.
And by the way, did I mention how much I hate Boston?

Take a look at these playoff stats and playoff PER.
And Prince has played excellent D on Iguodala and Hedo.
PWNAGE
You said above that Billups >>> Rondo, Rip >>> Ray, Sheed = KG, and Pierce = Prince. Then, in this message, you cite as evidence the playoff stats and playoff PER as the reason that Pierce = Prince. Stats are limitited things, but if that's the way you want to make your "PWNAGE" case, I'm fine with that. I'm a big stats guy myself. But I have a question...
...Since KG's playoffs PER is WAY higher than Sheed's...in fact, the difference in PER between KG and Sheed (9.41) is bigger than the differences between Billups/Rondo and Rip/Ray COMBINED (9.26)...based on your own logic, shouldn't your arrows be different?
I mean, if you use playoffs PER to say that Billups >>> Rondo...shouldn't KG be like >>>>>>>>>>> Rasheed? Or am I mis-stating your point in this posts?

Right now Boston has this sense of confidence that when they lose on the road like "ohh its ok we'll go back home and win." What Detroit needs to do is come out strong and win one of the 2 games in Boston. That will be like a punch in the face for the Celtics and get them to panic. Then we'll have a good series.
