Most hated person in Celtic history?
My vote has to go to Chris Wallace if the Lakers win. First he screws up our team with his moves/picks. They he gift wraps a 7 foot All-Star to the Lakers for NOTHING in return! Not a single key rotation player. Possibly costing us a championship and giving one to our biggest rival (historically). Without Gasol I don't think the Lakers get to the finals. ON top of that they get Bynum back next year to pair with Odom/Gasol/Bryant etc!
Thanks Chris!
Thanks Chris!

I don't think I can top this, because he was going to be my pick!
I guess I could say Rick Pitino, but that's too easy.

John Y. Brown.
Disassembled the great team of the 70's, traded for Bob McAdoo because his wife liked him, and almost drove Red to the Knicks.
A fan on a city bus begged Red to stay, Auerbach changed his mind, and then outlasted Brown.

Another thing that gets me about Wallace is when they interview him after one of his crappy moves. He is so sure and confident about what he does and his abilities as a GM. In all my time following sports one of the most amazing things I have seen is the link indicating Wallace was going to be GM of the Grizzlies. After his pathetic showing in Boston he got another job. Unbelievable. He must have incriminating photos on a lot of people in this game!
I hate you Chris Wallace!

And I guess the Most Loved would be McHell for giving Garnett to the Celts...
But at least McHale can say he got a 23 year old 20/10 future All-Star guy in return.
Lets look at the numbers:
Jefferson 21.0 points and 11.1 rebounds
Gomes 13.6 points and 5.8 rebounds
Wallace gets:
Kwame 4.8 points and 4.9 rebounds
Crittenton 5.6 points
But you would probably debate this as a wash, huh Showtime.

Man, people keep talking about the Pau Gasol trade to Los Angeles like Spygate. If the Lakers fail to win the championship this season. Then what?
There has to be some level of pressure on Los Angeles to win it considering that Bynum is due a contract extension and he's out of for the season, Odom will likely be traded (who knows...) and Bryant is a two-face villain like Harvey Dent. I thought he [Kobe] wanted out of Los Angeles. Changes with the Lakers roster could be imminent when the playoffs are over. Is Radmanovic (bad contract) on the block? Fisher will be thirty-four by next season.
Bryant can opt out after next season leaving Gasol alone with little or without much help in teammates even if Bynum is signed to a contract extension, but Odom doesn't receive a contract extension which isn't a given.
If Boston fails... Their window is still two or three years open. The allure of being Garnett's teammate could attract free agents to replace players Boston loses during this off season. I like Boston's short term future better than the Los Angeles Lakers' future by contrast. Too much is contingent on Bryant's immediate future and whether or not Bynum and the Lakers can come to a contract extension agreement.
