If 1980s Lakers/Celtics played today at their age right now?

This would never happen, but if it did the Lakers would probably ride to victory on the shoulders of Magic and Byron Scott as they are probably the only ones left (plus possibly Worthy) have enough athletic ability left to look somewhat at home on a basketball court. Kareem would still be effective if left simply to catch & shoot in the paint.... I believe Kareem could probably still play 7 minutes a night in the league right now if he could still shoot the skyhook.

Id like to see an old timers game at the All-Star break, two eight minute halves... if it gets too embarrasing put in two current players with 3 old timers.

I smell a "weekend at bernie" ish scenario...hilarity ensues when worthy gets called for a charge while johnson is just standing there being held up by bird and parish...

With the way Johnson appeared to age in his last few years with the Celtics, I wouldn't be surprised if this scenario didn't play out back then.

Give them JoJo White. (He still looks great on the court)

I thought this was pretty funny.

Agreed...If you get outraged at that comment you are overly-sensitive. The base of all comedy is that in some way it is different or "wrong." But seriously, lets all be completely self-righteous, proper, and easily offended in here - we like to get worked up and always be outraged

Go ahead. Magic doesn't have AIDs.
