The Big 3 are passed their prime. This is like Barkley, Pippen and Olajuwon.

Ray Allen is too old and he has bad ankles, no shooting guard is any good after 32.

Pierce's ego want let him accept not being the man.

KG isn't a real low post presence.

They are too weak at the pg and center position to win a championship.

But my favorite is...

Doc Rivers isn't a championship caliber Head Coach.

Those are the ones that have been proven to be downright stupid. Others, even though wrong, generally were at least somewhat sensible.

By far the most obnoxious was: "If one of the Big 3 go down, then they're screwed."

Also: "They're doing OK in the regular season, but the playoffs are another story."

Patriots references were also thrown around every so often. I guess it had something to do with getting great results only to have everything wash away at the end, but it seemed more like a poorly-veiled cheap shot to get a rise out of the board. Pretty lame either way. Not all of us live and die with the Pats just because we root for a New England sports team.

There was also this little gem from the General Forum ('nuff said) before House and Posey joined up, in response to Boston's 3rd best player being superior to Chicago's first. I'd track it down if this new setup wasn't driving me up the wall, but the gist of it was that the rest of the Celtics (4 on down) would have a hard time even finding a spot on Chicago's [i]entire roster[i]. Oh, and this was while Mike Sweetney was still on the team.

And Toronto's obsession with superior depth can't be overstated. That evolved (unintentionally) to Chuck Norris internet puns.
