Euro 08 Semi Finals: Germany vs Turkey

wow. This one is just too hard to predict. If there's anything I'd have liked to avoid as Germany, it'd have been a situation like this. Crazy things happen when the odds are so badly stacked against you and knowing a team like Turkey, they'd play their hearts out the entire 90 mins + whatsoever if needed.

If I had to predcit, It'd be 3-1 Germany with Turkey taking the lead first but this could be the game of the decade if things hold up for the Turkish side.

yesterday I talked to a turk at a döner store asking him which team he prefers and he said germany. I was not that surprised because many turkish descedants are more patriotic than most germans w/o any foreign heritage. on the other hand I was a bit surprised about his reasoning. he said that even if turkey advances the odds of them winning it all go down even more while germany has better odds to win it all. in this very moment I didn't ask him why he thought their chances would go down but later on it kept me thinking because some of the locks should be gone given that turkey advances, isn't it like that?
plus they'd be on the mental egde and playing on a rush of adrenaline if they know that they've made it that far.

I have put all my videos of Kaya Yanar, all my MP3s of Mustafa Sandal and Tarkan and all footage of Fatih Akin and Sibel Kekilli into one folder on my PC. If Germany loses, this folder will be gruesomely exterminated.

I anticipate a close German 2-1 win, and I will go to the public viewing shortly. This means that if I do not ever come back, you know that I have been squashed to a pulp. Well, soccer is a dangerous sport after all
