2007 NFL Draft
Draft is coming up! One of the few, rare moments in the NFL Offseason, where the news is aplenty and we get constant updates of the NFL! I'll even say it right now, I get more excited about the draft, than I do about some of the middle-of-the-season regular season games.
The Titans have the 19th overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, and a few positions we'll be likely targetting in the first round include: DE, DT, WR and CB.
Hopefully we can land some great talent in those positions we're targetting!
All Draft talk relating to the Titans should go here!

Mario Williams will be a decent enough pick. Though it was perfect, absolutely perfect, the way that draft turned out, and how we got Vince.
And plus, in his own, sick, twisted way, Bud Adams got his revenge on Houston by picking their hometown boy.

Both will be around when our picks come by, I presume, unless there are some surprise picks made.
I don't know about Jarrett though. I havn't seen much of College Football, and whenever I read articles about WR prospects, people keep ragging on him. What's his game like, and would it translate well into the NFL?

He is drew bennett with better hands and great awareness. He has some speed concerns as he ran a 4.6, but if he ran .15 seconds faster he would be a top 10-15 pick.
Ginn is an absolute beast. He has improved in each season as a WR (was a CB as a freshman). He once was recordied running a 4.06 as a freshman. He sprained his ankle in the NC game but it has basically healed completely. He has to work on catching a bit but will he is just so good.

My kind of draft would be a draft where...
1-Dwayne Jarrett
2-LaMarr Woodley
3-Josh Wilson
DJ brings what we need in a tall receiver who has great game speed and hands of glue while 'Wood brings a pass rusher with great abilities against the run. Wilson is basically a faster but more raw version of pacman jones.

I know we need recievers and a lot of other things but shouldn't we consider a RB? We lost Travis and I'm not quite sold on Lendale and his work ethic. What do you guys think about takin Michael Bush in the second if he is still there? I would love to have him. He is healed up and ready to go. It would be a steal.

A bit late on the reply, but....
An RB, IMO, is not as a big of a need as a CB, WR or a DE. I'd like to address it, but we've got bigger holes on our team that we need to patch up.
I think we should sign a veteran RB to teach LenDale...
However, I don't like the approach that we're taking, offering high picks for guys like Turner and LJ, who'll only want massive contracts once they come here too....

I like it a lot, we needed a safety and this guy can be a big play guy.
