The good news is, running back Larry Johnson looks to be all the way back, and quarterback Brodie Croyle seems to be getting more comfortable with the new power-running, option-passing offense being installed at the Chiefs' Wisconsin training camp.
The bad news is, Kansas City may have lost its two highly touted first-round draft picks for an extended period.
As much as people would like to accentuate the positive, injuries to first-round draft picks Glenn Dorsey and Branden Albert provided the biggest news in the Chiefs camp last week.
Albert, the 15th player drafted last April, reinjured the same ankle that caused him to miss the final two weeks of spring workouts during a July 31 joint workout with the Minnesota Vikings. ...More
