Agreed. It's been a while since anyone could say that about a Redskins team. Especially during the Norv Turner, Steve Spurrier and Joe Gibbs II years. Even Madden & Michaels were commenting on how well the game was played.
That kid from Hawaii is a player. Not the biggest guy or the strongest arm or the fastest runner but he knows the game of football and it looks like he knows how to lead a team. He's gonna start for someone down the road. It may not be us, but I think he's going to be a good one.

Anyone going to the Redskins Rides car show Sunday at Redskin Park? I've got my car entered in the show but I guess I'm going to have keep my true colors under wraps.

Cramer, here's just one more piece of evidence in the unmistakable argument as to the Redskins moral superiority over the Cowboys. The Redskins gave the league Monk and Darrell.
The Cowboys....not so much.

I'm going to have to wait until I get home to take a look at the link but it certainly sounds....interesting.
As for Monk and Green, I have nothing but the utmost respect for those two. Their induction last weekend made me proud just to be from here. Pure class, both of them. They could also play a little bit.

So far, so good. The most important thing - no major injuries to key starters!

Jon Jansen has looked terrible in pass blocking both the games.

Dude has played like 3 games the last 2 seasons. Give him more time.
On the other hand, Rhinehart, the 3rd round pick looks REALLY solid. Between him and Heyer, we've got two guys who can play tackle or guard.

13-10 win over the Jets. Favre managed a touchdown in his 2 series.
Colt Brennan continues to do well in mop-up. There might be a QB controversy...in 3 to 5 years. The Skins have a pretty good history with 3rd stringers - Stan Humphries, Trent green. At least the 3rd stringers turned out well for other teams...

Skins look like they've done pretty well in the late rounds and in free agency... It looks like we've all of a sudden got a bit of depth in key spots on D... I like Moore, Horton and Richardson in particular.

Agree. Just hope the Vinny drafts for defense next year as he did for offense this year!

Re: Hail To The Redskins
I don’t know what Jim Zorn was saying to Jets Head Coach Eric Man-genie-in-a-bottle, but it should have gone something like this:
“Hey, Sissyboy, going for the tying field goal in preseason? Where’d you leave your ‘nads, the wife’s purse?”
I don’t know what reasoning Mangini could come up with to justify that atrocity of a decision, but I do know one thing: It’s absolute crap. That game was a hideous bitch-goddess of boredom and Mangini decides to prolong our misery when he has a chance to end it one way or the other? Why isn’t there some kind of punishment for that? I’m not suggesting he be put to death or anything like that, but maybe 4 months in a maximum security prison would be reasonable. At least it would keep him away from the NFL for the 2008 season, which would be good for the game and the Jets.
