Phillies should have thrown at Manny and had him charge the mound giving him a suspension. Oh well.

I'm with Victorino on this one. If you want to throw at my midsection that's one thing, stay away from throwing at my head tho.

I don't like the head shots either.

Plunk him on the body....there is no need for above the head....

yeah, pretty good game.

i'm liking the playoffs so far!

and i think the phillies are pretty loaded, they are getting offense from everybody and most of their bullpen has been doing a great job.

and what many have said, manny can't do it alone but the red sox miss him more than he could miss the red sox.

Congrats to the Phillies. The Brewers lose to the team that goes to the world series and the Cubs get swept by a team that won one game in the NLCS.

Cole Hamels post game interviews all reminded me of Nuke's interview when he gets called up at the end of Bull Durham. Helluva series for the Phils.

Hamels did not look sharp early on, and I thought the Dodgers would get to him.

Guess I was wrong.

Hamels shut em down.

Congrats Phils.i

Congrats to the Phils!

Brad Lidge better not pull a Mitch Williams in the Series, and have my pop throw another remote through another TV.

You know what's funny though: The last time the Phils won the Series, my dad was 18, now I'm 18... maybe this is the year?

^Would be nice for an NL East team to win the Series.

The last team from the NL East to win the series were the Marlins (97 and 03) :D

congratulations phillies!!

i think their pitching has the confidence to make this team more complete. they know the have the offense and whoever it is batting they know he can deliver.

hamels was outstanding and so far lidge has been very reliable.

so... what time will the games be? late, early? like so far?

Sucks for the east coast.

I would never want to see the Phillies or Mets win a WS. Their fans are obnoxious enough when they suck.

Phillie fans aren't obnoxious, they just know where they've been and what they're capable of.
