It's going to be tough to stop Amare and Shaw with no perk out there. I hope KG ate his wheaties.
That shot of Nash is a riot, nice game thread as always.

After the game I'll be watching the Cavs/Lakers, hoping that both teams lose. It'd benefit the Celtics more if the Cavs lost, but I'm not sure if I could root for the Lakers, no matter what.

With KG appearing not at full strength, and Perk out Pheonix's big man are going to have a field day, Shaq especially

I still think we win, but its gonna take a hell of an offensive performance from our 1,2 and 3's

Did I hear right that Big Baby is doubtful for tonight? Does anyone know what's up with him?

It's funny to go into a game against the Suns and say the way to beat them is to outrun them, but it's true.

Scalabrine has to run Shaq, and Rondo has to use his sizable speed advantage over Nash. If Rondo is aggressive the Celtics will take this; if they walk the ball up they're cooked.

Or as immortal reading primer stars Dick and Jane might have phrased it:

See Rondo run.
Run Rondo run.
Look ahead Rondo.
Scal is out in front.
Pass to Scal.
Good pass Rondo.
Scal lays it in.
Now Shaq is sad.

I think I also heard that KG's getting the Shaq assignment.

That leaves Scal to guard Amare. I'm not sure I like that any better. I think KG can hold is own on Amare but Shaq will push him around. Then Scal will be out run by Amare. Let Scal, Baby, Leon, OBryant, Giddens, everyone else hack on Shaq and KG take care of Amare.

Yeah go ahead and just hack on Shaq. He is shooting around 75% in his past 10 games or so but you can hack him all you want.

I wouldn't hack shaq, i would stick glen Davis on him. This match-up is one the few were Baby should be on the court.

As much as I hate Scal, just watch. These are the times when he does his best(Good D and few airballs)

Baby is definately the best chance against shaq, i remember last season Duncan trying to back him down and having some issues... if he can really bank down and hold position he could save us a few points

Hopefully Shaq will miss enough to get this break going.

Maybe I missed something. Why is Shaq playing tonight? Doesn't he sit out the second half of back-to-back games? He played last night.

:dontknow:

It is a big game though. I would be surprised if shaq took an off day.
