WARRIORS SAID NO TO BARON DAVIS TRADE!
On Sports Center they just said Warriors rejected a Baron Davis for Corey Maggette/Marcus Williams trade! WTF? We had a shot at Baron Davis and a chance to dump the waste of space Willimas while getting a player we know can take us to the playoffs and we REJECTED IT?
Maggette better be traded, because he must be worth A LOT.

I will only be happy if Maggete is used to get aplayer like Amare, Bosh or Booozer.... or if the Warriors trade Crawford/Williams for Davis. I don't know if this is old news or not, BUT COME ON!

Dude, first off, in his current state, Baron is not worth the money owed to him for the remainder of his deal. Secondly, Don Nelson's right hand man Larry Riley is occupying the GM seat right now, so any deal like that would have been shot down by the giant alcoholic himself.

The net effect of that deal would be keeping Davis for more money and years than he originally agreed to (which Rowell overturned), plus they lost a conditional first round pick in the Williams deal. How bad would that make Rowell/Nelson look?

DAmn it, Bdiddy was my favorite Warrior
People complaining about Davis contracts should just take a look at Maggaattee 5 year 50mill
Who in there right mind would take Maggatte over Davis in a Warriors uni?

Not as bad as they should look. Wow, I guess the Clips are the only team that would be willing to take Mags and his bad deal. I anxious to find out what other teams out there would. Are you telling me Dunleavy hates Baron that much that he'd be willing to take back Maggette? lol.
Camby/Kaman/Jordan
Randolph/Skinner/Novak
Thornton/Maggette/Novak
Gordon/Maggette/Davis/Jones
Hart/Williams/Collins/Taylor
The Clips would have a pretty formidible frontcourt if they had made this deal.

Forget Baron. Move on. He's not intersted in basketball anymore, he's just playing to fund his future movie prospects. Have u seen him play this yr? Not interested. No thanks, I'll stay with Maggette thanks and trade him when his value is high.

BeRight32, I can only assume the joint you are smoking is as long as Brandan's arms put together. Please promptly pass it to the left.

Dunleavy LOATHES Maggette. There's no way this is legit.

Not extending Baron for 3 years/$39M was a bad move IMHO.
Signing Maggette for 5 years/$48M was a terrible move.
Not trading Maggette for Baron is actually a move I can get behind. Baron's got 4 years/$54M left on his deal right now, and he's bypassed "Bad Baron" and gone straight to "I don't give an eff" mode. Not sure how many Clips games you guys have watched this year, but they're downright depressing.

coming back to the bay would revive his career.... I don't know who I'd rather have. If magz is gone, that means I have to watch more azubuike, so i'll pass.

There is no way (now way in hell ) the raptors would even consider (yes even consider) that trade, not even if you add your draft pick. Raptors want Monta Ellis, Anthony Randolph and Marco Beleneli and nothing less

Hopper nails it right here.
I know we brought back Webber last year and that blew a few people away. But there's no way Rowell turns down the extension and then goes back and deals for him at a higher rate after the fact.

hating a coach don't make players shoot 35%, 28% froms 3s and chuck it up 16 times a game while shooting those horrible %. baron hates dunleavy and his system but obviously he's not interested in basketball any more. he got his money and now she's really concentrated on making hollywood friends instead of basketball. if baron gets traded back, he'd lose that lifestyle for 7 months a year and he'll be even more unhappy. baron never knew what playing basketball in la would be like and now that he's gotten a good taste of it, he wouldnt want to be anywhere else

LA? Isnt he from LA and played college ball at UCLA? He knew very well what playing in LA would be like. Hollywood lifestyle and plenty of things to distract him and his gut from playing the game. Thats why he left and thats why we shouldn't even consider bringing him back.
It was an entertaining run him being here but we lucked out at the right time with not resigning him and let the poor Clippers deal with him from here on....................
