I just think it makes more sense that if there are 304,000,000 people in the United States, and 139,000,000 have jobs, then unemployment is at 50+%

Why would you count people under 18 and above 60 though? It doesn't make sense to count 12 year old kids or 75 year old seniors.

Total labor force is 153 million. 15 million people in the labor force don't have jobs. 15/150 = .1 = 10% unemployment.

I would count everyone else because they don't pay for themselves. The entire weight of the country is on the backs of nearly a f*cking third of us.

Didn't Blake Griffin fracture his patella and he's only missing 6-8 weeks? Oden must have had a serious fracture if he's going to be out the whole year..

Blazer fans are quickly becoming amongst the most annoying at RealGM (some of them anyway) but this sucks, especially for Greg. People talk about money and whatever but think about how much pain this guy will be in while he recovers day to day, and probably for the rest of his life. His life doesn't stop when he walks off the basketball court. Hope he recovers quickly.

It sucks to see a player of Oden's ability go down because he's a guy you want to see succeed no matter what team you're a fan of. Hope he returns healthy.

This sucks. He was just starting to play well. I blame that Block Party guy for the jinx thread.

look this isn't just one season and he's back to normal. This is internal fixation. He's going to get 2-3 screws to put that freakin'knee together. It's never going to be the same or even close to %70 again.

Yeah I'm reading a bit and apparently Blake Griffin's fracture was small enough to not require internal fixation so he's been able to heal with immobilization of the leg, etc. Oden looks like he has a complete fracture.. gotta feel bad for the kid.

i'm a Laker fan, and i feel for you Portland fans(even though we are rivals), we know first hand how frustrating it is to lose a young, up and coming big. plus we want to beat you guys at full-strength.

ugh
