Oh right, that one few second thing from many years ago after he'd fulfilled the dream and won a national title. We should definitely hold that against him for the rest of his NBA career.

35pts in the 3rd quarter is a ridiculous choke. I'd love to hear the commentary of the 4th quarter.

Look at the Bulls' post-game thread. Filled with fans saying they're done with the Bulls.

Almost as dramatic as a typical Raptors loss PG-thread.

That was management's opinion

They figured pargo + Salmons + Cap'n Kirk would replace Ben

But all 3 are having horrible seasons

and Ben is not playing much for Detroit anyway due to injury

Why would you hate someone for having a hot mum? And anyway, she's not hot. She looks like Joakim Noah.

You seem to care more about a players body language & facial expressions than teams/ players than winning ball games.

The Bulls have the same disease that has plagued the Raptors for years.......no dynamic scoring guards (now that they have lost Ben). I wouldn't say that Rose fits that description. He is underperforming well beyond his capability.

You need a dynamic guard to be a good team in this league...

oh. whoops. I got her mixed up with Tiger Woods' wife.

i noticed that you're also in England. They need to salt the roads here. Slipped and fell on the street near Russell Square last night. Almost cracked my head open. Mostly due to hubris, thinking that I, like any Canadian, could handle walking 200 metres in 2 cm of snow with my dress shoes. Buying boots tonight.

On you lovable softy. It's only snow and ice. We get it once a decade and everyone's all like "oh no! If we drive we're gonna die!" And it's all like, no, shut up, you'll be fine. But then the news is all like "SEVERE WEATHER WARNINGS! IF YOU DRIVE YOU'LL DIE!!!!", and so everyone's like "omg its not safe im nt gonna drv coz i mite die" and it's like, no, just bloody shut up, man up, and grow a pair. Bloody wimps everywhere I tell you.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to do rugged manly activities like coal mining and hunter gathering and that.

I don't think it's an either/or situation.

If you work the kind of job that doesn't allow you to stare at rugged manrugs all day, then you, sir, are in the wrong job.

Bulls didn't sign Gordon because that was more added salary they don't need. Gordon is not a superstar, nor is he even a star. He is an undersized 2 guard who can score, space the floor, and shoot the 3. While it's something they could use this season, it isn't long term.

I think ideally the Bulls plan was never to keep Hinrich over Gordon, but to raise Hinrich's value, and move him via trade. At this point, Hinrich has been playing poorly (mainly due to him trying to adjust to the 2 guard spot), and it maybe harder to move Hinrich now. The same goes for Deng who was pretty much untradeable this season, but now is playing one of the best, if not the best basketball in his career. Now adding Gordon to that would mean

- They would likely need to trade him a year later
- He may not be able to be traded

At this point, I am not convinced Gordon can be traded for pure expiring(s). If teams passed on him on the offseason, I doubt they will be interested now as he has been playing worse, and at the same time he is now hurt. Chicago tried to move him in 2008-2009 to Miami who wouldn't give up anything for him. Do you see the reason why now Chicago didn't resign Gordon?

The point of doing this is there are 2 things keeping the Bulls from signing two max free agents

- Trading Hinrich
- Trading Deng

Deng is movable, where Hinrich will be tougher. Deng can be moved in a S&T this summer, where Hinrich may need to be traded with an added incentive by deadline. Adding two max free agents with a core of

Joakim Noah
Derrick Rose
Taj Gibson
Omar Asik (Turkish Center)
James Johnson
With A Top 7 Pick

Should be incentive enough for 2 max free agents to sign with Chicago. Outside of that, the only team that can really compete is New Jersey if they can land a major player in the draft.

What free agents wouldn't want to join a major market with that?
