Female Dirk. Hope she helps fill the seats for the Sky too. She's a legit baller.
Jerry Reinsdorf; the undisputed king of allowing his GM's to run amok with unchecked power and ego.

I like her name.
At least for the last week or two after I first heard it.

Excellent pick and I'm glad they took her over Skylar who's a great baller too, but not nearly the ceiling. E2D is perfext next to Fowles too.

That's high praise. Jackson is one of the greatest to ever play: 8-time All-WNBA, 3-time MVP, Top 15 WNBA Player of All-Time.
A franchise savior, basically.
"We haven't seen a player like her come into our league," Tulsa Shock coach Gary Kloppenburg said of Delle Donne. "I guess the comparison is to Lauren Jackson, but in a way she's got a greater skill set than even Lauren with her ability to put the ball on the floor."

"Just gotta stand in front of him," Butler said, as if it were simple.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.
NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Yup... pretty much this. And this has nothing to do with basketball cause I don't care... I'm talking purely aesthetics.

Re: OT- ELENA DELLE DONNE!!!
She is very beautiful, and from all accounts a super legit baller. She's got some real height and athleticism, and plays a bit more of a multifarious game than Griner (not doubt Griner is the top prospect far and away though). In the whole convo about Cuban and Griner and women in the NBA, I've heard a number of analysts say that if it were to occur someday soon it would be someone more like E2D, who has more of a hybrid game and wouldn't have to rely/hope to mix it up or bang inside.
In terms of beauty and body, she's a real athlete. If women were participating in the ancient olympics I'd imagine they'd look a lot like this:
One love

(PS ~ Skylar Diggins is absolutely stunning too. Hope she stays away from Lil Wayne's misogynist ass.)
(PSS ~ While these women are gorgeous, and it's good that they'll be able to bring more attention to women's athletics, I hope ultimately men are able to appreciate what they're actually doing on the court).

How much money do rookies in the WNBA make? What will the top pick and Elena Delle Donne make, for instance?

^^^ NVM
Wow. I had no idea the salaries were so shockingly low. WNBA average was $72,000 last year with the min being around $38,000 and max contract $105,000. But, I guess these women go overseas in the off season and the best of the them get big money.. $500,000 to $1 million for players like Delle Donne for a single season.
